Alghero's coastline offers crystal-clear azure waves, as well as beaches, inlets and bays to suit everyone: from long, low-level beaches with white sand and pine forests all the way to small, hidden beaches and steep, wild beaches littered with jutting rocks.

First and foremost, the Alghero area is all about
the sea: it takes in 80 km of coastline and around
20 beaches that are ideal for bathing.
Some of the beaches are easy to access, fully equipped with sunloungers, parasols and refreshment kiosks, whereas others are more solitary - indeed, a few of them can only be reached by boat.

Alghero itself has beaches both within the city
and a short distance outside it, all of which are easy to reach and offer a wide range of services.
There are bays with steep cliffs towering over them, inlets that are perfect for running along, and small, delightful coves that are ideal for those who like to go for an invigorating swim.
